The 31st Star Award Gala Cleveland brought supporters together for an inspiring evening celebrating leadership, research, and impact. Held on December 9, 2025, at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower, the event honored Matt Dolan, Chief Executive Officer of Team NEO, and recognized Team NEO’s work advancing business growth and job creation across Northeast Ohio. Ohio Cancer Research also presented the 2025 Discover Award for Research to Justin Lathia, PhD, of Cleveland Clinic, whose pioneering brain cancer research grew from an initial OCR seed grant into more than $30 million in follow-on funding. The evening was filled with celebration, camaraderie, and shared commitment to giving life to life-saving research.
